Job Brief
We are seeking a skilled Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Installer to assemble, install, and maintain solar PV systems on various structures, ensuring compliance with site assessments and schematics. Responsibilities
- Assemble and install solar photovoltaic systems on rooftops and other structures in accordance with project specifications.
- Conduct site assessments and evaluate structural integrity to ensure optimal installation locations.
- Measure, cut, and assemble structural framing and solar modules with precision.
- Perform minor electrical work, including current checks and troubleshooting of system components.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and maintain high-quality installation standards.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations throughout all installation processes.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Stay updated on new technologies and industry trends related to solar energy systems.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in solar installation is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Solar PV Installer or in a related field, with a strong understanding of solar energy systems.
- Knowledge of electrical systems and ability to perform basic electrical tasks.
- Familiarity with safety standards and regulations in the solar industry.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work at heights and perform physical labor as required.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Certifications in solar installation or related areas are a plus.
