Made reservation for handicap room with roll in shower 7 weeks in advance. Room needed for 1 night for wheelchair guest with NO use of legs. Spoke with GM Andra at time of reservation. Arrived (from out of state) to find that the room had been given to another guest. The room assigned to us was NOT handicap accessible. Desk clerk Heather was as helpful as she could be given her limitations. We were moved to the last available handicap room, with NO shower accessibility for wheelchair and limited space for wheelchair maneuverability. Apologies DO NOT replace needed and RESERVED accessibility. Excuse given was that they did not realize that we really needed it. Really??? After speaking by phone with the GM to explain WHY it was necessary!!! We noted that we had the ONLY handicap car parked in the 4 handicap parking spots that night. Hotel was not sold out.
Unfortunately, hotels in the area are very limited and we had no choice.
Also, handicap rooms on 3rd floor? No wheelchair van parking.
Room we stayed in had major cleaning issues and appeared to be rarely used. Breakfast was cold. But, the ONLY elevator worked and the staff we interacted with were all professional.

We were not all happy with the room not having carpet. We had two small children and it wasn’t comfortable for them and a fear they would fall off the bed because secondly the website says they have cribs, which they do not. So frustrating. And thirdly, the bfast people stood and watched you and were way too involved in your privacy at bfast! They had a tip jar which we did not contribute because it supposed to be free , I guess that’s why they watch everything you do and every move you make. I didn’t feel comfortable. We pay enough for the rooms to not feel pressured to tip the people who warm the bfast up. It was good no doubt but I didn’t like being watched while you ate. May go to bojangles in the morning. Beds comfy and pillows. Room was clean.

Cool location, as there is a restaurant right next door. and pretty from the outside. However, the front desk staff didn’t show any signs of welcoming. Very blank “what’s up” sort of attitude.
The room was dirty upon arrival. The toilet hadn’t been cleaned, handprints on the window, hair in the bathroom.
Overall for the price, it should have at least been clean.
