Job Brief
The Labor Training Manager will plan, direct, and coordinate training and development activities within the organization to enhance workforce efficiency and productivity. This role requires a strong background in employee training, program development, and instructional design, along with excellent leadership and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing training programs, assessing training needs, and implementing effective learning solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive training programs aligned with organizational goals and industry standards.
- Assess training needs through surveys, interviews, and consultations with management and staff.
- Design and deliver engaging training sessions, workshops, and seminars for diverse employee groups.
- Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness and make improvements based on feedback and performance metrics.
- Manage and mentor training staff, providing guidance to ensure high-quality training delivery.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify skill gaps and develop targeted training initiatives.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and new training technologies.
- Prepare and manage training budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Training Manager or similar role, preferably in a labor-intensive industry.
- Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theory.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Proficiency in training software, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Certification in training and development (e.g., CPTD, ATD) is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
