Responsibilities
- Weigh, measure, and check wool materials and supplies to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Collect and maintain accurate records of wool samples, documenting specifications and conditions.
- Inspect and verify the quality of materials to support production processes.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely availability of sampled materials.
- Utilize inventory management software to track and report on materials and samples.
- Assist in the preparation of material reports for management review.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge of wool properties and sampling techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in textiles or related fields is a plus.
- Proven experience in quality control or inventory management, preferably in the textile industry.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.
- Proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of wool types and properties is an advantage.
