Job Brief
As a Window Shade Installer, you will be responsible for the professional installation, maintenance, and repair of various window treatment systems, including shades, blinds, and draperies. This role requires a strong attention to detail and proficiency in utilizing hand tools and power tools. Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair a variety of window shade systems, including roller shades, Roman shades, and vertical blinds.
- Measure and assess window dimensions to ensure proper fit and functionality of window treatments.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving any installation issues.
- Utilize hand and power tools to effectively install and secure window shades according to manufacturer specifications.
- Conduct on-site evaluations and prepare detailed installation estimates for customers.
- Maintain an organized inventory of materials and tools necessary for installation tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and installation techniques to enhance service offerings.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training in installation trades is a plus.
- Proven experience as a window shade installer or in a related field, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot installation challenges.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for traveling to job sites.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical tasks as required.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in installation environments.
