Job Brief
As a Window Draper, you will be responsible for planning and erecting captivating commercial displays in retail windows and interior spaces, as well as at trade exhibitions. This role requires a blend of creativity and technical skills to design visually appealing presentations that attract customers and enhance brand visibility. Candidates should have experience in visual merchandising, a strong eye for detail, and excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with retail teams.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement innovative window displays and interior merchandising setups to promote products effectively.
- Collaborate with marketing and retail teams to align display concepts with brand strategies and seasonal promotions.
- Conduct site visits to assess and plan display installations in compliance with safety regulations.
- Utilize props, lighting, and signage to create engaging visual narratives that capture customer interest.
- Monitor and maintain displays, ensuring they remain fresh and relevant throughout the season.
- Analyze customer engagement and sales data to refine display strategies for improved performance.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to enhance display techniques.
- Assist in the preparation and execution of trade show displays, ensuring cohesive branding and effective presentation.
Requirements
- Proven experience in visual merchandising or window display design, preferably in a retail environment.
- Strong creative skills with a keen eye for aesthetics, color, and detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and basic technical skills related to display installation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders.
- Knowledge of current design trends and consumer behavior analytics.
- Physical ability to lift and arrange display materials and equipment as needed.
