Responsibilities

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in fire science or emergency management preferred.
- Valid wildland firefighter certification (e.g., S-130, S-190) and CPR/First Aid certification.
- Proven physical fitness and ability to meet rigorous physical demands of firefighting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience with firefighting equipment, tools, and techniques.
- Knowledge of local ecosystems and fire behavior is a plus.
- Willingness to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
