Responsibilities

- Utilize extensive knowledge of diamonds, including cut, color, clarity, and carat weight, to advise clients on product selection.
- Negotiate pricing, terms of sale, and delivery schedules to ensure customer satisfaction and competitive positioning.
- Stay updated on market trends, pricing fluctuations, and new product offerings to provide valuable insights to clients.
- Prepare and present sales proposals, product demonstrations, and marketing materials tailored to client needs.
- Manage inventory and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of diamond products.
- Monitor sales performance metrics and adjust strategies to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
- Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to expand professional connections and enhance sales opportunities.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Wholesale Diamond Broker or in a similar sales role within the diamond or jewelry industry.
- Strong negotiation and sales skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- In-depth knowledge of diamond grading, valuation, and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and CRM tools for tracking sales activities.
- High level of integrity and professionalism in all business dealings.
- Relevant certification or training in gemology or a related field is a plus.
