Job Brief
We are seeking a skilled Welding Instructor to deliver high-quality vocational training in welding techniques and practices. Responsibilities

- Provide hands-on instruction and demonstrations in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
- Assess student performance through practical tests, projects, and written evaluations.
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom and workshop environment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to students, fostering a positive learning atmosphere.
- Stay updated on industry trends, advancements in welding technology, and teaching methodologies.
- Collaborate with other faculty members and industry partners to enhance educational programs.
- Participate in professional development activities to maintain certifications and improve teaching effectiveness.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a welder with relevant certifications (e.g., AWS, ASME).
- Previous teaching or instructional experience preferred, particularly in vocational settings.
- Strong knowledge of welding safety practices and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage students effectively.
- Ability to develop engaging and effective lesson plans and instructional materials.
- Familiarity with current welding technologies and techniques.
- Ability to assess student progress and adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree or higher in welding technology or a related field is preferred.
