Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to determine their desired makeup and hairstyle for weddings and special events.
- Apply makeup techniques to enhance clients’ features and create custom bridal looks.
- Style and arrange hair, including cutting, coloring, and setting, to complement makeup applications.
- Provide skincare services, including cleansing and moisturizing, to prepare the skin for makeup.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring all beauty tools and products are sanitized.
- Stay updated on the latest beauty trends, products, and techniques to offer clients innovative services.
- Assist with dressing wigs and other hairpieces, ensuring a seamless and natural appearance.
- Manage time effectively to meet tight schedules and accommodate multiple clients on wedding days.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a makeup artist, preferably specializing in bridal makeup.
- Certification in cosmetology or makeup artistry from an accredited institution.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of makeup styles and hair designs.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster client relationships.
- Proficiency in using makeup tools, products, and techniques for various skin types and tones.
- Knowledge of skincare products and techniques to enhance skin health.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances on the wedding day.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
