Job Brief
The Weapons Military Characteristics Officer is responsible for managing personnel and weapon operations aimed at neutralizing enemy positions, aircraft, and vessels. This role requires extensive experience in planning, targeting, and coordinating the tactical deployment of field artillery and air defense missile systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise in weapons systems, and a deep understanding of fire control communications systems.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute tactical deployments of field artillery and air defense artillery missile systems.
- Coordinate targeting operations and oversee the launch of intercontinental ballistic missiles.
- Direct the establishment and operation of fire control communications systems.
- Manage the storage and handling of nuclear munitions and associated components.
- Ensure the security and integrity of weapons storage and launch facilities.
- Oversee the maintenance and operational readiness of advanced weapons systems.
- Conduct training and development for personnel involved in weapons operations.
- Collaborate with military leadership to enhance tactical strategies and operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Military Science, Defense Studies, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in military operations or weapons systems management.
- In-depth knowledge of field artillery, air defense systems, and missile technologies.
- Proven experience in fire control systems and communications technologies.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance for handling nuclear materials.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with military stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications in weapons systems operation or military tactics preferred.
