Job Brief
We are seeking a skilled Water Treatment Plant Engineer to design, plan, and implement effective engineering solutions for the prevention and remediation of environmental hazards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in water and wastewater treatment processes, pollution control technology, and site remediation. This role requires a professional with hands-on experience, a thorough understanding of environmental regulations, and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance and sustainability.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research and analysis to develop innovative water treatment solutions.
- Design and optimize water treatment processes to meet regulatory standards.
- Manage projects focused on waste treatment and pollution control technologies.
- Evaluate environmental impact assessments and propose remediation strategies.
- Collaborate with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with environmental laws.
- Perform troubleshooting and maintenance of water treatment systems.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation for project management and regulatory submissions.
- Supervise and mentor junior engineers and support staff in engineering practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or in progress.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in water treatment or environmental engineering.
- Strong knowledge of water quality standards and environmental regulations.
- Proficient in engineering software tools and modeling programs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and project management abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
