Job Brief
As a Warp Knitting Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and tending to advanced warp knitting machinery to produce high-quality textiles. Responsibilities
- Set up and adjust warp knitting machines for optimal performance and quality output.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure consistent production of textiles according to specifications.
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to prevent downtime and enhance longevity.
- Document production data, including machine settings, production counts, and quality issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machine malfunctions and production challenges efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in textile technology is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Warp Knitting Machine Operator or similar role in the textile industry.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate and maintain complex machinery.
- Familiarity with various knitting techniques and textile materials.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and machine programming.
