Job Brief

As a Warhead Maintenance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the operational readiness of various munitions systems, including missiles, torpedoes, and artillery weapons. This position requires hands-on experience with the maintenance, inspection, and storage of ammunition and weaponry. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, an understanding of safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments. Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough testing and inspection of munitions, including missiles, torpedoes, and ammunition, to ensure safety and compliance with military standards.
  • Perform preventive and routine maintenance on weapons systems and related equipment to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Establish and maintain effective radio and wire communications for coordination in combat scenarios.
  • Operate and troubleshoot weapons targeting, firing, and launch computer systems to ensure accurate targeting and firing procedures.
  • Document maintenance activities and inspections in compliance with military regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Assist in the training of personnel on the safe handling and operation of weapons systems.
  • Ensure secure storage and proper handling of ammunition and explosives in accordance with safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with field artillery and air defense teams to support tactical operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant military training or certification in munitions maintenance preferred.
  • Proven experience in the maintenance and operation of weapons systems, including artillery, missiles, and torpedoes.
  • Strong understanding of military safety protocols and regulations related to munitions handling.
  • Familiarity with weapons targeting and firing systems, along with a capacity for troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration within military teams.
  • Ability to work in high-pressure environments and adapt to rapidly changing conditions.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labor as required by the role.
  • Valid security clearance may be required depending on the operational environment.
