Job Brief
As a Warhead Maintenance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the operational readiness of various munitions systems, including missiles, torpedoes, and artillery weapons. This position requires hands-on experience with the maintenance, inspection, and storage of ammunition and weaponry. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough testing and inspection of munitions, including missiles, torpedoes, and ammunition, to ensure safety and compliance with military standards.
- Perform preventive and routine maintenance on weapons systems and related equipment to enhance operational efficiency.
- Establish and maintain effective radio and wire communications for coordination in combat scenarios.
- Operate and troubleshoot weapons targeting, firing, and launch computer systems to ensure accurate targeting and firing procedures.
- Document maintenance activities and inspections in compliance with military regulations and reporting requirements.
- Assist in the training of personnel on the safe handling and operation of weapons systems.
- Ensure secure storage and proper handling of ammunition and explosives in accordance with safety protocols.
- Collaborate with field artillery and air defense teams to support tactical operations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant military training or certification in munitions maintenance preferred.
- Proven experience in the maintenance and operation of weapons systems, including artillery, missiles, and torpedoes.
- Strong understanding of military safety protocols and regulations related to munitions handling.
- Familiarity with weapons targeting and firing systems, along with a capacity for troubleshooting technical issues.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration within military teams.
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments and adapt to rapidly changing conditions.
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labor as required by the role.
- Valid security clearance may be required depending on the operational environment.
