Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming merchandise and materials for quality and accuracy.
- Store items in designated locations, ensuring accessibility and organization.
- Prepare and fill orders accurately for customers, ensuring timely delivery.
- Operate power equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move stock safely.
- Mark prices on merchandise and assist in setting up sales displays as needed.
- Conduct regular inventory counts to maintain stock accuracy and report discrepancies.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse operations and efficiency.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience in warehouse operations preferred.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and stock control processes.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other power equipment; certification preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Physical ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory and order processing.
