Responsibilities

- Provide one-on-one and group counseling to support veterans in their rehabilitation journey.
- Coordinate and implement vocational training programs to enhance job readiness and skills.
- Facilitate job placement services, connecting veterans with employers and resources.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, social services, and community organizations to support client needs.
- Monitor client progress and adjust rehabilitation plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of counseling sessions, client interactions, and progress reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- Current licensure or certification as a Rehabilitation Counselor or similar credential.
- Strong knowledge of rehabilitation methods, vocational training, and job placement practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on active listening.
- Experience working with veterans or individuals with disabilities is preferred.
- Ability to create and implement effective rehabilitation strategies tailored to individual needs.
- Proficient in using case management software and maintaining client confidentiality.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple cases effectively.
