Responsibilities

  • Alter existing vests to meet client preferences and requirements.
  • Repair damaged vests, maintaining quality and integrity of the garment.
  • Select appropriate fabrics and materials, ensuring durability and aesthetic appeal.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety standards.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and provide expert recommendations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to enhance skills and offerings.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Vest Maker, Tailor, or similar role in garment design and construction.
  • Strong knowledge of sewing techniques, pattern making, and fabric types.
  • Proficiency in using sewing machines and other garment-making tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions.
  • A degree or certification in Fashion Design, Tailoring, or a related field is a plus.
