Job Brief
As a Urologist, you will diagnose and treat conditions related to the urinary tract and male reproductive system. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients with urological disorders.
- Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to formulate treatment plans.
- Execute surgical procedures including but not limited to prostatectomies, nephrectomies, and cystectomies.
- Provide preoperative and postoperative care to ensure optimal recovery and outcomes.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient-centered care strategies.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Educate patients and their families about urological conditions and treatment options.
- Stay updated with advancements in urology practices and technologies.
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a residency in Urology.
- Board certification in Urology or eligibility for certification.
- State medical license to practice Urology.
- Strong surgical skills and proficiency in minimally invasive techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple patient cases.
