Job Brief
The Truck Washer is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of vehicles, machinery, and equipment. This role involves using various cleaning materials and techniques to ensure all surfaces are thoroughly cleaned and well-maintained. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, experience in vehicle cleaning, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Wash and clean trucks, trailers, and other heavy equipment using water, detergents, brushes, and cloths.
- Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and report any damage or maintenance needs.
- Utilize pressure washers and hoses effectively to remove dirt and grime from hard-to-reach areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of the washing area and keep cleaning supplies organized.
- Adhere to safety protocols while handling cleaning agents and operating equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance on washing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow established procedures for waste disposal and environmental compliance.
- Assist with additional cleaning duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in vehicle washing or cleaning preferred.
- Knowledge of various cleaning products and their appropriate applications.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment and tools safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects as needed.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Valid driver’s license may be required based on job location.
