Responsibilities
- Utilize climbing and rigging techniques to access tree canopies safely.

- Remove dead or excess branches to maintain right-of-way for roads, sidewalks, and utilities.
- Operate truck-mounted lifts and other equipment for high-access pruning tasks.
- Inspect trees for signs of disease or infestation and recommend treatment options.
- Follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Document pruning activities and tree conditions as required.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Tree Pruner or in a similar role within the landscaping or horticulture industry.
- Strong knowledge of tree species, growth patterns, and proper pruning techniques.
- Ability to operate climbing gear, hand tools, and power tools safely.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform labor-intensive tasks at heights.
- Certification in tree care or arboriculture is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
