Job Brief
The Training Specialist plays a crucial role in enhancing organizational performance through effective training and development programs. This position is responsible for designing, conducting, and evaluating work-related training initiatives tailored to improve employees’ skills and boost overall productivity. Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive training programs based on organizational needs and employee skill gaps.
- Conduct training sessions using various delivery methods, including in-person workshops, e-learning, and webinars.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback surveys, and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and develop customized solutions.
- Develop training materials, including manuals, guides, and multimedia presentations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and new training technologies.
- Facilitate training sessions and workshops, ensuring an engaging and interactive learning environment.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to employees to support ongoing development and career advancement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Training Specialist or similar role in a corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles.
- Proficient in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other training software.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze performance data to assess training effectiveness.
- Certifications in training and development, such as CPTD or ATD, are a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
