Job Brief

Responsibilities
- Design and develop innovative tools, engines, and machines to meet operational specifications.
- Perform thorough analysis and testing of mechanical systems to enhance performance and reliability.
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of tools and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment, including heat, gas, water, and steam systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements in tool design and functionality.
- Document engineering processes, specifications, and modifications for future reference and compliance.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in tool engineering and manufacturing technologies.
- Provide technical support and training to operators and maintenance personnel as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Tool Engineer or similar role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Strong proficiency in CAD software and other design tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and stakeholders.
- Certifications in tool design or engineering (e.g., Certified Manufacturing Engineer) are a plus.
