Job Brief
The Ticket Attendant plays a vital role in enhancing the patron experience at entertainment events by efficiently managing ticket collection and seating assistance. Responsibilities
- Collect admission tickets and passes from patrons upon entry to the venue.
- Assist patrons in locating their assigned seats and provide directions throughout the venue.
- Manage lost and found inquiries and assist with the retrieval of lost articles.
- Provide information about event schedules, amenities, and facility locations, including restrooms and telephones.
- Ensure compliance with venue policies and procedures to maintain a secure and enjoyable environment.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
- Monitor crowd flow and assist with the efficient entry and exit of patrons.
- Collaborate with event staff to handle any unexpected situations or emergencies.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; previous experience in customer service or event management preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse audiences.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Basic problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Proficiency in using ticketing software and familiarity with event management systems is a plus.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and assist patrons as needed.
