As a Thermostat Repairer, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of mechanical regulating and controlling devices, including thermostats, electric meters, gas regulators, and other related components. Responsibilities

  • Install, calibrate, and troubleshoot various types of thermostats and mechanical controlling devices.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems.
  • Diagnose and repair issues related to electric meters, gas regulators, and safety valves.
  • Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used during repairs.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their specific heating and cooling needs.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working on electrical and gas systems.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in thermostat technology.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in HVAC systems preferred.
  • Proven experience as a thermostat repairer or in a related field, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC controls.
  • Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
