Job Brief
As a Thermostat Repairer, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of mechanical regulating and controlling devices, including thermostats, electric meters, gas regulators, and other related components. Responsibilities
- Install, calibrate, and troubleshoot various types of thermostats and mechanical controlling devices.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems.
- Diagnose and repair issues related to electric meters, gas regulators, and safety valves.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used during repairs.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their specific heating and cooling needs.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working on electrical and gas systems.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in thermostat technology.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in HVAC systems preferred.
- Proven experience as a thermostat repairer or in a related field, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC controls.
- Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
