Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and optical issues in telescopes and related equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of telescope models, ensuring their functionality and precision.
- Calibrate optical systems to enhance image quality and accuracy.
- Assemble, disassemble, and reassemble telescope components as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, parts used, and maintenance schedules.
- Advise customers on proper maintenance and care of their telescopes.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and repair techniques.
- Collaborate with team members to improve repair processes and service quality.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in optical or mechanical repair is a plus.
