Job Brief
The Taproom Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while mixing and serving beverages in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a friendly and knowledgeable individual with experience in bartending or food service. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including craft beers, wines, and cocktails, to patrons and through waitstaff.
- Engage with customers to provide recommendations and answer questions regarding drink selections and menu offerings.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the taproom, including bar areas and serving stations.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking supplies as necessary.
- Handle cash and electronic payments accurately, ensuring proper cash management and reporting.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service.
- Assist in the training of new staff on beverage preparation and customer service standards.
- Participate in special events and promotions to enhance customer engagement and drive sales.
Requirements
- Proven experience in bartending, food service, or a related field.
- Knowledge of beverage preparation techniques and cocktail recipes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive customer relationships.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy, high-energy environment.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and cash handling procedures.
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol and possess any required certifications (e.g., TIPS certification).
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
