Job Brief
We are seeking a skilled Stucco Plasterer to apply interior and exterior plaster, cement, stucco, and similar materials with precision and craftsmanship. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in plastering, with a strong understanding of various techniques and materials, as well as the ability to set ornamental plaster. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to delivering high-quality finishes on residential and commercial projects.
Responsibilities
- Apply interior and exterior stucco, plaster, and cement to surfaces using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Prepare surfaces for plaster applications by cleaning, smoothing, and repairing as necessary.
- Mix plaster, cement, and stucco according to specifications and industry standards.
- Install decorative and ornamental plaster features as per project requirements.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations while working on job sites.
- Inspect completed work for quality and consistency, making adjustments as necessary.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Stucco Plasterer or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of plastering techniques, materials, and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality workmanship.
- Familiarity with safety practices and regulations in construction environments.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Certification in plastering or a related field is a plus.
