Job Brief
The Strike Intermediate Armament Maintenanceman is responsible for the maintenance, inspection, and repair of tactical weapons systems and armament equipment. This role requires a solid understanding of mechanical and electronic systems, along with hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repair procedures. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments. A background in military operations is preferred, along with relevant technical training or certification.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and inspection on various armament systems and weaponry.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues in weapons systems.
- Execute repairs and modifications to ensure compliance with military standards and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repair history, and parts inventory.
- Collaborate with other military personnel to support tactical operations and mission readiness.
- Utilize specialized tools and equipment to conduct repairs and perform diagnostic tests.
- Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge of new technologies and systems.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of armament parts and supplies.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in armament or related fields preferred.
- Experience in military operations or as a tactical operations specialist highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electronic repair techniques for weapons systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and compliance regulations related to armament maintenance.
- Certification from recognized military or technical training programs is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively in a team environment.
