- Conduct thorough investigations into incidents of theft, fraud, and violations of store policies.
- Compile and analyze data related to losses and theft incidents to develop effective prevention strategies.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and legal teams to provide evidence and support during investigations.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, including witness statements and surveillance footage analysis.
- Train and educate staff on loss prevention techniques and store policies to promote a secure shopping environment.
- Implement and maintain surveillance systems to enhance store security.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory and security measures to ensure compliance with loss prevention protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail security, loss prevention, or a related field.
- Strong observational and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with surveillance technology and loss prevention systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Certification in loss prevention or security (CPO, LPC, or equivalent) is preferred.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to theft and fraud in retail settings.
