Job Brief
We are seeking a detail-oriented Statistical Analyst to develop and apply mathematical and statistical theories and methods to collect, organize, interpret, and summarize numerical data. Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and interpret quantitative data using statistical techniques and software tools.
- Develop statistical models to forecast trends and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Conduct hypothesis testing and regression analysis to validate findings.
- Prepare detailed reports and visualizations to present statistical findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and enhance data collection processes.
- Utilize statistical software such as R, SAS, or Python to perform advanced data analysis.
- Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing statistical methodologies and best practices.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in statistical analysis techniques.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a Statistical Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in statistical software (e.g., R, SAS, Python, SPSS) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Solid understanding of statistical concepts and methodologies, including regression, ANOVA, and multivariate analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex statistical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with data management and data mining techniques is a plus.
