Job Brief

We are seeking a detail-oriented Statistical Analyst to develop and apply mathematical and statistical theories and methods to collect, organize, interpret, and summarize numerical data. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of statistical software, and experience in various specialized fields such as biostatistics, agricultural statistics, business statistics, or economic statistics. The Statistical Analyst will play a crucial role in transforming complex data into actionable insights that guide decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret quantitative data using statistical techniques and software tools.
  • Develop statistical models to forecast trends and provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Conduct hypothesis testing and regression analysis to validate findings.

  • Utilize statistical software such as R, SAS, or Python to perform advanced data analysis.

  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in statistical analysis techniques.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Statistical Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in statistical software (e.g., R, SAS, Python, SPSS) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Solid understanding of statistical concepts and methodologies, including regression, ANOVA, and multivariate analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex statistical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with data management and data mining techniques is a plus.
