Job Brief
The Stacker Operator is responsible for efficiently operating industrial trucks and tractors to move materials within various environments such as warehouses, construction sites, and storage yards. Responsibilities
- Operate stackers and industrial trucks to transport materials to designated locations.
- Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles and storage areas.
- Inspect equipment prior to operation and perform routine maintenance as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during operations.
- Coordinate with team members to optimize workflow and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Document material movements and maintain accurate logs of operations.
- Assist in training new operators on equipment usage and safety protocols.
- Identify and report any issues or malfunctions with equipment to supervisors.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications preferred.
- Proven experience as a stacker operator or in a similar role within industrial environments.
- Strong knowledge of safety procedures and equipment operation protocols.
- Ability to operate stackers, forklifts, and other industrial trucks effectively.
- Excellent physical stamina and coordination for handling heavy materials.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic mechanical skills for equipment troubleshooting.
