Job Brief

As a Sports Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in assessing, planning, and implementing rehabilitation programs tailored to athletes and active individuals.   • Utilize various therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and functional training to facilitate recovery.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Educate patients and their families on injury prevention strategies, rehabilitation techniques, and home exercise programs.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, athletic trainers, and coaches, to provide comprehensive care.
  • Stay current with advancements in sports rehabilitation techniques and treatment protocols through ongoing education and professional development.
  • Maintain a safe and organized treatment environment in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Requirements

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist.
  • Certification in Sports Physical Therapy (SCS) is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of musculoskeletal anatomy, biomechanics, and injury management.
  • Proven experience working with athletes or active individuals in a clinical or sports setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction.
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
