The Speedboat Operator is responsible for safely operating small motor-driven boats while ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for passengers. Responsibilities
- Operate small motor-driven boats for various activities, including tours, fishing, and water sports.
- Ensure the safety of passengers by adhering to all safety regulations and procedures.
- Assist in navigational activities using GPS and other navigational tools.
- Perform routine maintenance checks and upkeep of the speedboat to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing passenger inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Monitor weather conditions and adjust travel plans accordingly to ensure passenger safety.
- Conduct pre-departure safety briefings for passengers.
Requirements
- Valid operator’s license or relevant boating certification.
- Proven experience as a speedboat operator or in a similar maritime role.
- Strong knowledge of local waterways, navigation, and boating regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform under pressure and handle emergencies calmly.
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform boat handling tasks.
- First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
