Job Brief
As a Soil Engineer, you will play a critical role in researching, designing, and implementing engineering solutions focused on the prevention, control, and remediation of environmental hazards. Your primary responsibilities will include evaluating soil conditions, conducting site assessments, and developing strategies for waste treatment and pollution control. Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed soil investigations and geotechnical analyses to determine soil properties and behavior.
- Design and implement effective solutions for soil stabilization, remediation, and waste management.
- Evaluate environmental conditions and recommend strategies for pollution control and site cleanup.
- Collaborate with environmental scientists, civil engineers, and other stakeholders on remediation projects.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for regulatory compliance and project updates.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in soil engineering and environmental technology.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations governing soil and environmental management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Soil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred.
- Proven experience in soil analysis, site assessment, and environmental remediation projects.
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations and best practices in waste management.
- Proficient in using geotechnical software and modeling tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
