Job Brief

We are seeking a skilled Skiagrapher to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including taking x-rays and CAT scans. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering nonradioactive materials into patients’ bloodstream and ensuring high-quality imaging for accurate diagnoses. This role requires a strong attention to detail, technical proficiency in imaging equipment, and a commitment to patient care. Candidates should possess relevant certifications and have experience in radiologic technology.

Responsibilities

  • Perform x-ray and CAT scan imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis of medical conditions.
  • Administer nonradioactive contrast materials to patients as needed for imaging studies.
  • Maintain and operate imaging equipment, ensuring adherence to safety standards and protocols.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results and provide accurate reports.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Stay current with advancements in radiologic technology and best practices in patient care.

Requirements

  • Certification as a Radiologic Technologist or equivalent in Skiagraphy.
  • Proven experience in performing x-ray and CT imaging procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and imaging protocols.
  • Ability to operate imaging equipment and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety and comfort.
  • Current CPR certification and compliance with continuing education requirements.
