Responsibilities
- Assist skilled operators in the setup and operation of shale extraction equipment.
- Supply necessary tools and materials to extraction craft workers during operations.
- Perform cleaning and maintenance of work areas and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Support the drilling and blasting processes by preparing and organizing required materials.
- Monitor equipment performance and report any issues to operators or supervisors.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while on-site.
- Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge in shale extraction processes.
- Assist in the documentation of daily operations and maintenance activities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in mining or construction is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of shale extraction processes and equipment operation.
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments and handle heavy machinery.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Familiarity with safety standards and regulations related to mining operations.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and technologies in the extraction field.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required.
