Job Brief
As a Scalp Treatment Specialist, you will provide expert scalp care and treatment services to enhance the overall health of your clients’ hair and scalp. This role requires hands-on experience in administering various scalp treatments, along with a strong understanding of hair care products and techniques. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough consultations to assess clients’ scalp conditions and recommend appropriate treatments.
- Administer scalp treatments, including massages, exfoliations, and specialized therapies.
- Shampoo and rinse customers’ hair while ensuring a comfortable and relaxing experience.
- Educate clients on proper scalp and hair care techniques and products to maintain health between treatments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the treatment area, including sanitizing tools and equipment.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in scalp and hair care treatments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Scalp Treatment Specialist or in a similar role within the beauty or wellness industry.
- Knowledge of various scalp treatments, hair care products, and application techniques.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with clients.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Certification in cosmetology or esthetics is preferred.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a salon environment.
- Passion for continuous professional development and staying current with industry trends.
