Job Brief
As an RVDA Master Certified RV Technician, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing, inspecting, adjusting, and repairing recreational vehicles, including travel trailers. Your expertise will encompass various systems such as gas, electrical, hydraulic, plumbing, and chassis/towing systems. You will also be responsible for repairing generators, appliances, and interior components, ensuring that all vehicles meet safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in RV repair and maintenance, demonstrating exceptional technical skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in recreational vehicles.
- Inspect and conduct routine maintenance on RV systems, including plumbing and towing components.
- Perform repairs and overhauls on generators, appliances, and other interior components.
- Specialize in customized van conversions and modifications to enhance vehicle functionality.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs and services performed on each vehicle.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all repairs.
- Provide outstanding customer service and clear communication regarding repair needs and recommendations.
Requirements
- RVDA Master Certification or equivalent certification recognized in the industry.
- Proven experience as an RV technician with a strong background in diagnosing and repairing recreational vehicles.
- In-depth knowledge of RV systems, including electrical, plumbing, and hydraulic systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in diagnosing vehicle issues.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
