Job Brief
We are seeking a skilled RV Servicer to diagnose, inspect, adjust, repair, and overhaul recreational vehicles, including travel trailers. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in maintaining and repairing various systems such as gas, electrical, hydraulic, plumbing, and chassis/towing systems. Additional expertise in repairing generators, appliances, and interior components is essential. This role requires a detail-oriented technician with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for delivering high-quality service to enhance the functionality and safety of recreational vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in recreational vehicles (RVs) and travel trailers.
- Inspect and assess the condition of gas, electrical, hydraulic, plumbing, and chassis/towing systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and necessary repairs on RV systems and components.
- Overhaul and repair generators, appliances, and interior features of recreational vehicles.
- Conduct customized van conversions to meet specific client needs and specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used for inventory management.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards during all repair and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service requests and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an RV Servicer or in a similar role within the recreational vehicle industry.
- Strong knowledge of RV systems, including gas, electrical, hydraulic, and plumbing.
- Hands-on experience with diagnosing and repairing RV components and systems.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and industry standards related to RV maintenance.
- Technical certification in RV service or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple service tasks efficiently.
