Responsibilities
- Perform in various rodeo events, demonstrating expertise and skill in disciplines such as bull riding, steer wrestling, and calf roping.
- Engage with audiences to create an entertaining and memorable experience, utilizing charisma and stage presence.
- Collaborate with fellow performers and rodeo personnel to ensure smooth event operations and safety.
- Maintain and care for rodeo animals, ensuring their health and well-being before, during, and after performances.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to minimize risks and promote a safe working environment.
- Participate in promotional events and community outreach to enhance the rodeo’s visibility and establish positive public relations.
- Continuously train and improve riding techniques, performance skills, and rodeo knowledge to remain competitive.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a rodeo performer or in a related equestrian sport.
- Strong physical fitness and stamina to perform demanding physical tasks.
- Excellent riding skills with a solid understanding of animal behavior and care.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with crew members.
- Knowledge of safety practices and regulations in rodeo events.
- Flexibility to travel and perform at various events and locations.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is a plus.
