Job Brief

The Robotics Testing Technician will operate, test, maintain, and adjust unmanned, automated, servomechanical, and electromechanical equipment. This role involves working with cutting-edge technology to conduct thorough testing on robotics systems, including unmanned submarines and aircraft. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in robotics, engineering, and equipment maintenance, demonstrating expertise in troubleshooting and optimizing robotic systems for various applications, such as deep ocean exploration and infrastructure monitoring.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor unmanned automated systems to ensure optimal performance and data accuracy.
  • Conduct tests and evaluations on robotics equipment, identifying and resolving technical issues effectively.
  • Maintain, calibrate, and repair servomechanical and electromechanical devices according to established protocols.
  • Assist engineers in the design and testing phases of robotics projects, providing valuable insights and feedback.
  • Document test results and operational data, maintaining detailed records for future reference.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in Robotics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in operating, testing, and troubleshooting robotic systems.
  • Strong knowledge of servomechanical and electromechanical systems.
  • Familiarity with programming languages used in robotics, such as C++, Python, or MATLAB.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Valid certification in relevant safety and operational standards.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
