- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to address complex tax issues.
- Provide training and guidance to junior staff on tax enforcement procedures and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in tax enforcement, auditing, or compliance roles.
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations at federal, state, and local levels.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in using tax compliance software and financial analysis tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with taxpayers.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity.
- Certifications such as CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) are preferred.
