Job Brief
As a Retail Stocker, you will play a vital role in maintaining the organization and presentation of merchandise within a retail environment. This position involves receiving, storing, and issuing products to ensure shelves and displays are fully stocked and visually appealing. Responsibilities
- Receive, unpack, and store merchandise in designated stock areas.
- Stock shelves, racks, and displays with products in an organized manner.
- Assist with inventory management by tracking and reporting stock levels.
- Mark prices on merchandise and set up promotional displays as needed.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the stockroom and sales floor.
- Fulfill customer orders and requests efficiently and accurately.
- Operate power equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, safely and effectively.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize stock replenishment processes.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as a stocker, warehouse associate, or in a retail environment.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and stock replenishment practices.
- Ability to operate power equipment (certification may be required).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy items and perform manual tasks.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends.
