Job Brief

As a Resort Desk Clerk, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless experience for our guests. You will be responsible for registering and assigning rooms, issuing room keys, and managing reservations. Responsibilities

  • Register guests and assign rooms based on their preferences and availability.
  • Issue room keys or cards and provide guests with information about hotel amenities and services.
  • Maintain accurate records of occupied rooms and manage guest accounts effectively.
  • Make and confirm reservations through various channels, including phone, email, and online platforms.
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Transmit and receive messages for guests and ensure timely communication of important information.
  • Present statements to departing guests and collect payments using point-of-sale systems.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized front desk area to create a welcoming environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality certifications are a plus.
  • Proven experience as a front desk clerk or in a similar customer service role in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
  • Proficiency in using reservation management software and point-of-sale systems.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays, to meet operational needs.
