Job Brief
As a Reservation Sales Agent, you will be responsible for managing customer reservations for transportation and lodging, ensuring a seamless booking experience. This role requires excellent communication and sales skills, as you will assist clients in selecting travel options, confirming bookings, and providing essential travel information. Responsibilities
- Handle incoming reservation requests via phone, email, and online platforms, providing exceptional customer service.
- Make and confirm reservations for transportation, lodging, and package tours, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Sell transportation tickets and provide detailed information about travel itineraries, routes, and schedules.
- Assist customers with baggage check-in and direct passengers to designated concourses, piers, or tracks.
- Deliver tickets to clients and provide ongoing support throughout their travel journey.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of travel products, services, and industry trends to enhance customer experience.
- Collaborate with travel partners and suppliers to ensure the best pricing and availability for clients.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality or travel management is a plus.
- Proven experience in a sales or customer service role, preferably within the travel or hospitality industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele.
- Proficiency in using reservation systems, CRM software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple reservations effectively.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Knowledge of domestic and international travel regulations and trends.
