Job Brief

As a Reservation Sales Agent, you will be responsible for managing customer reservations for transportation and lodging, ensuring a seamless booking experience. This role requires excellent communication and sales skills, as you will assist clients in selecting travel options, confirming bookings, and providing essential travel information. Successful candidates will have prior experience in a customer service or sales environment and a passion for the travel industry.

Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming reservation requests via phone, email, and online platforms, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Make and confirm reservations for transportation, lodging, and package tours, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Sell transportation tickets and provide detailed information about travel itineraries, routes, and schedules.
  • Assist customers with baggage check-in and direct passengers to designated concourses, piers, or tracks.
  • Deliver tickets to clients and provide ongoing support throughout their travel journey.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of travel products, services, and industry trends to enhance customer experience.
  • Collaborate with travel partners and suppliers to ensure the best pricing and availability for clients.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality or travel management is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a sales or customer service role, preferably within the travel or hospitality industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele.
  • Proficiency in using reservation systems, CRM software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
