Job Brief
The Research Geologist is responsible for studying the Earth’s composition, structure, and various physical aspects to support exploration and environmental initiatives. Responsibilities

- Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes in geology and environmental science.
- Engage in peer-reviewed research and publish findings in scientific journals.
- Provide expert advice on geological issues related to mining, energy, and environmental sustainability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related field; advanced degrees preferred.
- Proven experience in geological research, exploration, or environmental consulting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data interpretation.
- Familiarity with geological mapping tools and software (e.g., ArcGIS, RockWorks).
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and standards related to geological assessments.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for conveying complex information.
- Ability to work in diverse environments, including fieldwork and laboratory settings.
- Professional certifications (e.g., Licensed Geologist) are a plus.
