Responsibilities
- Conduct land surveys to establish property boundaries and dimensions with precision.
- Utilize advanced surveying equipment and software, including GPS and CAD systems, to gather data.
- Prepare and maintain detailed records of surveys, including maps and reports.
- Analyze data and provide recommendations based on survey findings for construction and engineering projects.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure project specifications are met.
- Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations regarding land surveying and property rights.
- Perform boundary and topographic surveys for land evaluation and development purposes.
- Review and interpret survey plats and legal documents related to property ownership.
Requirements
- Valid Registered Land Surveyor license.
- Bachelor’s degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Land Surveyor or in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in surveying software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
- Familiarity with GIS (Geographic Information Systems) technology.
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
