Job Brief
As a Regional Airline Pilot, you will pilot and navigate fixed-wing aircraft on scheduled air carrier routes, ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of passengers and cargo. Responsibilities
- Operate and navigate aircraft in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and company policies.
- Conduct pre-flight inspections, ensuring aircraft safety and functionality before departure.
- Communicate effectively with air traffic control and ground crew to coordinate flight operations.
- Adhere to scheduled flight plans while making real-time adjustments as necessary for safety and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate flight logs and reports, documenting flight hours, maintenance issues, and other relevant information.
- Provide exceptional customer service while ensuring passenger comfort and safety during flights.
- Participate in ongoing training and evaluation programs to maintain proficiency and compliance with aviation standards.
Requirements
- Valid Federal Air Transport Pilot certificate with a type rating for the specific aircraft operated.
- Minimum of 1,500 total flight hours, including required hours in multi-engine and jet aircraft.
- Strong knowledge of aviation regulations, navigation systems, and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with crew and passengers.
- Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions in dynamic environments.
- Willingness to travel frequently and work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Current First Class Medical Certificate issued by an FAA-authorized aviation medical examiner.
