Job Brief

As a Refrigeration Insulator, you will be responsible for applying insulating materials to pipes, ductwork, and other mechanical systems to control and maintain temperature effectively. Responsibilities

  • Inspect and assess existing insulation for wear, damage, or inefficiency.
  • Collaborate with engineers and installation teams to determine insulation requirements.

  • Document insulation work completed and report any issues or concerns to management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training is a plus.
  • Proven experience in insulation work, particularly with refrigeration and HVAC systems.
  • Strong knowledge of insulation materials, including fiberglass, foam, and reflective barriers.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and guidelines related to insulation installation.
  • Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including confined spaces.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
