Job Brief
As a Recreational Vehicle (RV) Repairer, you will be responsible for diagnosing, inspecting, and repairing a variety of recreational vehicles, including travel trailers and customized van conversions. Your expertise will cover gas, electrical, hydraulic, plumbing, and chassis/towing systems, as well as the maintenance and repair of generators, appliances, and interior components. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for ensuring the optimal performance of RVs.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot RV issues, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Inspect and evaluate the condition of recreational vehicles to identify necessary repairs.
- Perform adjustments and repairs on gas, electrical, hydraulic, plumbing, and chassis systems.
- Overhaul and maintain generators, appliances, and other interior components of RVs.
- Execute customized van conversions according to customer specifications and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed on each vehicle.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding RV maintenance.
- Stay updated with the latest RV technologies and repair techniques to enhance service quality.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in RV repair preferred.
- Proven experience in RV repair or similar mechanical roles.
- Strong understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and plumbing systems in recreational vehicles.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment specific to RV maintenance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record may be required.
